Hidden Hollow Choir Needs Your Talents

If you are interested in playing the piano for the Hidden Hollow Choir please contact Barbie Morton (801)360-4018 or Kim Cameron (at the school). The choir will need your help after school one day a week for about an hour and would like to plan a performance for this year if they get practicing.

Winter Box Tops Contest

We have just finished the preveous collection contest friday.
The top 3 classes are:
Cameron/Day/Towner collecting 1782 box tops
Barnes collecting 410 box tops and
Warner collecting 250 box tops
Congratulations to those students for their excellent efforts.

The students will soon have a vote to see what the money will be spent on. We have asked the teachers for their class favorites and plan on having the vote next week. The students are working really hard and we are certain this will boost their enthusiasm to be able to help spend the money.

The next collection contest will run until April 7th, keep up the great work Hidden Hollow.

Green Ribbon Week

This week has been Green Ribbon Week at the elementary. The dress up days are as follows: Tuesday: wear green to show that you will be safe on our way to school, Wednesday: Crazy hair day, Thursday: Wear mismatched shoes or crazy socks to remember to watch your step, Friday: Dress like a hornet or wear school colors to show your school spirit.

So far it has been alot of fun for everyone.

Some things to remember about safety:

Always walk on the sidewalk and if there is no sidewalk, walk in single file facing traffic.
Look both ways when crossing the street.
Walk - not run - across the street and look for cars while crossing.
Cross at a crosswalk, or at a corner if a crosswalk is not available.
Do not play in the street.
Wear reflective clothing at night if you are going to be outside.
Walk with a buddy.

We hope it is a fun week for all the students.

End of the year

As you can see on the calendar above, there are a lot of activities for the end of the year. If you have any questions about any of them, please either call the school or LeeAnn Bohman at 801-789-3015.

A special thanks for all who have volunteered this year, whether it was in the PTA, in your child's classroom, with fieldtrips or events, or doing things at home to help. We really appreciate all you have done to make this year successful! We look forward to more great things coming out of Hidden Hollow Elementary.
